Computer Science and Engineering Department
Computer Science and Engineering Department is one of the leading departments in this
campus providing high technology-oriented programmes to meet today's need of young
minds, a department having highly qualified, experienced and dedicated teaching faculty
to impart knowledge in various fields including recent technologies.
Computer Science and Engineering Department at this College provides sound
theoretical and practical knowledge to the students to make them efficient computer
engineers through well-equipped Labs. These Labs are equipped with three IBM /HCL
servers and desktop computers connected with Local Area Network over Star Topology
through 100 Mbps, Switch and 10/100 Mbps Ethernet cards. The Multimedia and Internet
Labs are provided with Pentium -IV CPU.
The Department has association with WebTek Ltd (IBM AI partners) for carrying out
workshops on current technologies. The department is equipped with multimedia tools
for effective communication and teaching. Project Lab is facilitated with all desirable
state of the art environment to carry out the projects undertaken by the students during
their four year course such as – Unix / Linux, Visual Studio, JDK, Microsoft SQL Server,
Dot Net, Oracle 9i and IBM Rational Suite for Software Requirements, Design, Analysis
and Testing in the field of Software Engineering. As a result our students achieve their
target of entering into big business houses or heading for esteemed Institutions in the
country and to the foreign shores for higher studies. Academics is always on our top most
priority.
The Institute is having Wi-Fi campus for providing 24×7 Internet facilities through 2
Mbps dedicated connection from Reliance. Well equipped Internet Lab is provided to
students and faculty for Research and Development.
